Job Description:
SENIOR MANAGER; BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT; Army, Navy or AIR FORCE; Arlington, VA Know anyone ready for this opportunity? Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with US Government clients and developing new clients within the Division and Product Service Line (PSL) strategies. • Develops market and business development strategies for providing existing services and identifying new services to existing and new US Government clients. • Coordinates with other Business Development Managers across all Product Service Lines of G&I to enhance sales performance of all contacts with all US Government departments and agencies. • Utilizes various databases to record sales contacts and opportunities and to obtain and retain project and Company information of or inclusion in marketing and proposal products Qualification - Skills: • Knowledge of Federal procurement practices, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and qualifications based selection process. • Has an in depth understanding and proven experience with US Government clients. • Ideally will have served in one of the military services in an engineering support role. • Revenue targets shall be determined by the particular business unit in which the individual is assigned. • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. • Usually has a technical degree and 8+ years of industry experience prior to entering business development along with 5+ years of experience in business development. • Travel is required.
