The year 2011 will be a unique year for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). For the first time, the APMP will have an Executive Director other than David Winton, an APMP charter member and Fellow, and former APMP CEO. (Plus, he and I are fellow alums of the University of Florida.)

David steps down after about 18 years of leading the APMP during its formative and growth years. Over most of these years, I've had the good fortune to work with David on many APMP activities and issues. I've found him to be conscientious, intelligent, organized, and easy to work with (i.e., he's a good guy). He will be succeeded by Rick Harris. Good luck to Rick in his new job. My thanks to David for a job well done and best wishes for his future endeavors (and Go Gators!).
